Privacy Policy

How LegalFastDocs operates this website, what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Effective September 18, 2026 Orange County, California
Important privacy practice

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, passwords, full financial account numbers, medical records, or other unnecessary highly sensitive information through ordinary website forms, email, text message, or appointment notes.

This Terms & Privacy Policy explains how LegalFastDocs operates this website and handles personal information collected through our website, appointment-request process and related communications.

Service-specific terms, including appointment approval, payments, cancellations and mobile notary procedures, are governed separately by our User Agreement.

01

Scope

This policy applies to information collected through legalfastdocs.com and communications directly related to LegalFastDocs appointment requests and services.

It does not govern the independent privacy practices of third-party websites, banks, payment processors, mapping providers, email providers or other services that may be linked from or integrated with this website.

02

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:

Contact information

Name, email address, phone number and similar contact details.

Location information

Street address, city, ZIP code and preferred public/professional meeting area.

Service information

Document category, document count, signer count, appointment notes and service questions.

Scheduling information

Requested and confirmed appointment dates, times and status history.

Technical information

Browser/device information, approximate network information, logs and website interaction data.

Communications

Messages you send us and records of service-related email or phone communications.

03

Appointment and Document Information

We collect information needed to determine whether we can accept an Orange County mobile notary appointment, including your location, requested date and time, document type, number of documents, number of signers and preferred meeting type.

Unless specifically requested through a secure method, you should not upload or transmit complete copies of sensitive legal documents merely to request an appointment. In most cases, a general description of the document is sufficient for scheduling.

LegalFastDocs does not need your Social Security number, online banking password, credit-card number by email, or unrelated confidential records to evaluate a standard appointment request.
04

Payment Information

When an appointment request is approved, payment may be processed through an independent payment processor such as Stripe, PayPal, or another provider we identify at checkout.

Full payment-card numbers are generally submitted directly to the payment processor rather than to LegalFastDocs. We may receive transaction information such as payment status, amount, date, transaction reference and limited billing details needed to administer the appointment.

Your use of a payment processor is also subject to that provider's own terms and privacy practices.

05

How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

  • Review and respond to appointment requests;
  • Confirm that the requested service location is within Orange County;
  • Evaluate document and signer information needed for scheduling;
  • Coordinate a public or professional meeting location;
  • Send approval, payment, confirmation, rescheduling and cancellation messages;
  • Provide and document services;
  • Process and reconcile payments;
  • Prevent spam, fraud, misuse and security incidents;
  • Maintain business, accounting and compliance records;
  • Improve website performance and customer experience; and
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.
06

Sharing and Service Providers

LegalFastDocs may share information with service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting, website administration, email delivery, payment processing, scheduling, security, analytics, mapping or business-record services.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, regulatory obligations, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, enforce agreements, or respond to a lawful request.

LegalFastDocs does not knowingly sell personal information for monetary consideration. If our data practices change in a way that creates legally required sale/share notices or opt-out rights, we will update this policy and provide the required choices.

07

Cookies, Logs and Analytics

The website may use cookies, local storage, server logs and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, reduce fraud, understand traffic and improve performance.

Some WordPress plugins, hosting tools, embedded services or analytics providers may set their own cookies or collect technical information. Browser settings can often be used to block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect website functionality.

08

Email, Phone and Service Communications

If you submit an appointment request, we may contact you using the email address or phone number you provide for scheduling, document questions, location coordination, payment, appointment confirmation, reminders, rescheduling, cancellation or other service-related matters.

Transactional communications are part of the requested service. Marketing messages, if any, will be handled separately where applicable and may include an unsubscribe or opt-out method.

09

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including scheduling, customer service, transaction records, accounting, security, dispute handling, legal compliance and business administration.

Different records may be retained for different periods. Information may also be retained longer when required by law, needed to establish or defend legal claims, or reasonably necessary to investigate fraud or misuse.

10

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and operational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the size and type of our operations.

No website, internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You should use care when deciding what information to send electronically.

11

Your Privacy Choices

You may contact LegalFastDocs to ask questions about personal information associated with your appointment request, request correction of inaccurate contact information, or request deletion where appropriate and where retention is not required for legitimate business or legal purposes.

To make a privacy request, contact admin@legalfastdocs.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests.

12

California Privacy Information

California residents may have privacy rights under applicable California law depending on the nature of the business, the information involved and the legal thresholds that apply.

Where a California privacy right applies to LegalFastDocs, we will honor valid requests as required by applicable law. Such rights may include access, correction, deletion or certain opt-out choices, subject to legal exceptions.

This section is intended to preserve applicable rights without representing that every California privacy statute applies to every LegalFastDocs activity or customer interaction.

13

Children's Privacy

The website and appointment-request process are intended for adults. We do not knowingly solicit appointment requests directly from children under 13.

A parent, guardian or other authorized adult should contact LegalFastDocs regarding any notary-service situation involving a minor.

Review the terms and privacy policies of third-party services before providing them with personal or payment information.

16
